Used Golf Ball Grading Guide

How we grade our balls

Here you’ll find our comprehensive golf ball grading guide. We’re typically generous with our grading. For example, a ball we grade as B might be considered Grade A by others. This ensures that you always receive a highly graded, high-quality ball.

Grade A

Our Grade A balls are in excellent condition and perform just like new. You may notice the occasional pen mark or slight cosmetic scuff, but nothing that affects flight or playability.

These balls have been carefully sorted and are ideal for golfers looking for top performance at great value.

Grade B

Our Grade B balls show clear signs of use, with noticeable scuff marks and some mild discolouration. There are no sandy or heavily worn balls in this grade.

Perfect for practice sessions, casual rounds, or players who aren’t too fussy about the exact ball they use. And let’s be honest — it stings a lot less when one of these ends up in the trees

Grade C

Our Grade C balls show heavy signs of use, with noticeable marks, scuffs, and discolouration.

The surface may be worn or uneven in places, and they’re best suited for practice, fun rounds, or situations where performance isn’t a priority. Ideal if you just need a few balls to hit without worrying where they end up.
