Wilson Tour Velocity golf balls are designed for maximum distance, featuring a 2-piece construction with a hard ionomer cover and a low-compression core, typically under 70, for enhanced feel. These balls are engineered for high ball speed, optimal trajectory, and a stable, wind-resistant flight, making them a budget-friendly option for maximum distance and control.
Key Features and Performance
Distance Focused: The hard cover increases ball speed for superior distance and roll off the tee.
Construction: 2-piece, low-compression design that enhances feel on shorter shots while maintaining velocity.
Aerodynamics: Features an elliptical dimple pattern, reducing drag for a more stable, piercing flight.
Accuracy: Engineered for lower driver spin to promote straighter, more accurate shots.
Value: Often sold in 15-pack, providing a high-value option for golfers.
Tour Velocity Accuracy/Feel: Emphasizes control and feel on approach shots while still offering high, “explosive” speed.
The Wilson Tour Velocity is suitable for golfers looking for a durable, high-performance ball without a premium price tag, particularly for those with mid-to-low swing speeds needing extra yardage
